ChargeHolidays
For sustainable travel

Certification& reliability

ChargeHolidays works with accredited partners advancing sustainable tourism and a healthier planet. Still, it is not easy to act sustainably — for accommodations or travelers. In the label jungle of more than 150 certificates, many properties struggle to choose a standard, and travelers cannot tell what to trust or how to spot greenwashing. The Global Sustainable Tourism Council lists standards that have proven robust. At ChargeHolidays we map these certifiers directly into our Dreamcatcher matrix so everyone can compare properties across schemes. Because many smaller, family-run properties lack budget and staff for full certification, we offer the free Sustainable Dreamcatcher Check.

Learn more about sustainable travel certification

Our partners are recognized by the GSTC and demonstrate sustainable operations through credible programmes.

What is the GSTC? The Global Sustainable Tourism Council (GSTC) was created by UN agencies with NGOs and the private sector to work as an independent body. GSTC-accredited certification means procedures meet international expectations for transparency, impartiality, and competence — so you can book with clearer confidence.

That makes conscious travel decisions easier.
